On Tuesday, at 2:00 pm, there will be a Council Meeting. - The final stages of construction are underway on the Pointe Agricultural Event Centre. The $67-million facility will serve as a hub for agricultural events, equestrian activities, and community gatherings, featuring a large arena, barn space, and meeting rooms. County officials confirmed the project is on budget, and public tours will soon be offered to potential event organizers. The centre includes seating for over 300 people, 120 removable livestock stalls, a wash bay, and a high-quality AV system for multi-event use. A tentative launch is planned for Fall 2025.

Former Strathcona County Mayor Vern Hartwell was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal. Glubish remains hopeful that both projects will advance in the coming months, citing ongoing discussions with provincial ministers.
